My Photography Story

Welcome to Emmy Allen Photography.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I love taking pictures and being creative. I wanted to have photos taken of my family professionally, but as a young mom living on a budget, I would have take my own photos. I got pretty creative by hanging my own backdrops (in sheet form) and mastering setting the camera up with a timer and rushing back to be in my spot. Sometimes, my sister would help out, thankfully.

I got inspired to make something more out of photography through tragedy. In 2015, my brother passed away unexpectedly. I couldn't help but think, I wish I had more pictures. So, I started to take more and put a lot of time into learning. I bought my first camera and took a leap. My children became my models and my passion flourished, They are even the inspiration behind my business name.

I started my business in 2017 and have loved every minute of it!
